Large piece of canvas from the fuselage section of the aircraft. A tiger moth built in 1935 and used at the Sigrist flying school in Desford. Served with the RAF in 1941. The aircraft has now been restored by plane heritage and is still flying.
A pair of escape boots (size 9). The soles and uppers are in good condition but the laces need replacing (not difficult to do). The suede tops and fleece lining are in good condition too. One zip is damaged (as the photo depicts); there is no knife in the book pocket.
