A highly collectable and original First World War trinket box, crafted from a laminated wooden aircraft propeller, likely of Royal Flying Corps (RFC) origin.
The box has been skilfully made from a cross-section of a WW1 propeller blade, hollowed out to form the body, with a matching propeller wood lid. The laminated construction—layers of hardwood bonded together—is characteristic of early aircraft propellers used during the Great War.
