An original Pair of British 37mm High Explosive (HE) shell cases, dating possibly to the Boer War period and manufactured by VSM.

This shell cases represents a component of early 20th-century artillery ammunition and would have been used in conjunction with 37mm guns during the conflict. Items of this type are increasingly sought after as tangible relics of  Boer War and WW1 battlefield technology.
