British Dated 1900, 6 Pounder Brass Shell Case.

A 6-pounder gun, or 6-pdr, typically refers to a 57-millimeter (2.2 in) gun that shoots a projectile weighing around 6 pounds (2.7 kg). This shell case was probably for QF 6-pounder Hotchkiss, a quick-firing naval gun from the 1880s.
Base 7.5cm diameter, 2cm diameter fuse, Height approx 30.5cm.
Markings III, RL, 35, CF T, 1 encircled, date 17 07 00.
RL is short for Royal Laboratories, Woolwich Arsenal. CF – Charge loaded with cordite / full charge. The 1 in a circle indicates that the case was to be fitted with a Mk 2 primer. “T” indicates that the shell was last filled at the Tipnor filling station.
