WW2 Deutscher Volkssturm Armband
Early war example of a Deutscher Volkssturm Armband, constructed of cotton featuring script “Deutscher Volkssturm ” (German People’s Militia Forces), National Wehrmacht Eagle, below is the Heimwehr Danzig and below with a red horizontal linned bottom edge. The armband was worn by civilians that fought alongside the military in the invasion of Poland at the beginning of WWII. On the reverse it has the N.S.D.A.P. stamp.
The armband has no holes but some water and dirt damage.
