WW2 COMMEMORATIVE VICTORY V SPOON STAMPED WANDSWORTH 1945 WITH DOVE DECORATION
A World War II commemorative Silver plated teaspoon. As the pictures show, the spoon is decorated with a dove over the letter ‘V’ which is on a dagger that runs the length of the spoon handle. You can see that the bowl has been stamped inside ‘WANDSWORTH 1945″. I believe that these were given out by local councils and schools to celebrate the end of the war. This one is in good condition and has no wear to the plating on the spoon. It is marked ‘EPNS’ on the back of the handle Measures 4.25″ long. This would make a great addition to any collection.
