RAF WW2 Aircraft Jump Lights (Paratrooper)

Description

Great pair of Aircraft Jump lights, Red for wait but ready and Green for go . A.M. Ref no on bases , 5c/559, and on glass shade Ref no 5c/645, original rubber rings to protect glass globes, bakelite screw fittings and stand.

These were used in all aircraft which carried parachutists, so that each person would know when hopefully it was safe to vacate the aircraft. Nice clear globes no damage.
