Original WW2 Northamptonshire Regiment Coloured Field Service Cap
An original World War Two era Northamptonshire Regiment colour side cap in nice condition complete with an original cap badge.
This colour of side cap is a black woollen material with a tan brown top. the inside is made of a cotton scrim liner and cotton sweatband. dated inside 1939, broad arrow marked and numbered 37122
The cap is in good condition and shows no signs of wear or damage that I can see. These hats were used for special occasions so are rarely worn or tired, with this example being no exception. The exterior of the hat is very clean and displays very nicely whilst the interior is also clean showing only very limited signs of wear.
