1918 dated British 6 pdr Mk III Brass Shell case Trench Art decoration with a lady and flowers and PEACE 1919.

1918 dated British Tank 6 pounder brass shell case, Measures approx 12 x 3 inches. Base marked 6Pr III , 1918, no splitting to the top , complete with fuse. Lovely condition.

This 1918 dated 6 pdr mkIII brass shell case being the type used by British naval guns and in British Mk1 to MkIV tanks, marked on the base ‘CF’ for cordite filled.
Stands 12 inches high,
