WW2 US M6 Tank Periscope

Replacement Lens for the M6 Periscope. Good clean condition.

These periscopes were used in US tanks such as the Sherman and Stuart during WW2. The “scope” was mounted by inserting it into a bracket and hooked onto a lip. The centre knob was then tightened to secure it in place.

If either glass lens shattered during action, the damaged lens could be quickly removed and replaced by turning the knobs on each side of the periscope, which would release the lens for replacement.
