Original U.S. Merchant Marine WWII Khaki Visor Cap made by Bancroft, ( Zephyr),
The front displays the bullion insignia of the Merchant Marine, with the anchor device on the shield. The surface of the visor has no cracks and crazing. The interior of the cap has basket weave construction, with the full leather sweatband being intact. The celluloid sweat shield is in place, Overall very good condition. Metal band can be taken out to form a crusher.
