Victorian Officers Service Pith Helmet

 Multi panel crown ,rounded peak and rear brim all with material edging . A White linen multi fold pagri band . General service badge to the pagri band ,KC badge. Green cotton under brim and red crown  silk lining with Thomas Townsend & co, Lime St London tailors stamp . Brown leather sweatband  .Brown leather narrow chinstrap . Clean condition with no moth holes , as used in India and the Africa campaign in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Comes complete with it’s original tin, with paper railway labels attached to the outside, good shape no major damage just some wear and tear.
