Relic German M16 Single decal steel helmet, re-issued in World War II , worn by a soldier of the 7th Panzer Division . the helmet was recovered  from the battlefield around the town of Arras from the battle on the 21st May 1940 during the German invasion of France.

Relic German M16 Single decal steel helmet, re-issued in World War II , worn by a soldier of the 7th Panzer Division . the helmet was recovered  from the battlefield around the town of Arras from the battle on the 21st May 1940 during the German invasion of France.
The German 7th Panzer Division (ghost division) which was under the command of Generalleutnant Erwin Rommel, he commanded the Panzer Division for the battle of France. He commanded from 15th February 1940 until the 13th February 1941. This helmet has some battle damage to the front rim.
