1940s New Zealand Blue Ensign Flag 28in x 17in Victory Flag

A delightful vintage, original 1940s  New Zealand flag or Blue ensign is of woven cotton and measures approximately 28″ x 17″ inches.

This flag is in excellent condition given its age.  With vibrant colours, there’s no damage or fraying to the fly end suggesting very little flying time. The words ‘British Made’ are woven into the fabric.  See photos.

Flag comes from The Victoria Hotel in Berners St London, probably to celebrate VE Day at the end of WWII.
