WW2 US Water Bucket 1943

The canvas bucket has a height of approximately 10-1/2 inches, with a base diameter of approximately 11.5 inches. The bucket shows soiling and stains consistent with use in the field. The side bears the “U.S.” military stencil, while the base markings show that the bucket was produced in 1943, webbing handle and base straps are good, stitching is also good. Dated 1943 to the base inc the company of manufacture.

Has written on the side NOTICE!!  KEEP YOUR GOD DAMM HANDS OF THIS BUCKET!! Written in ink. great piece of history , this bucket was found in the Bastogne area as just come back from there.
