Description

Here is a nice honest piece, totally original totally been there, Japanese Imperial Navy Officer’s Cap , White top. Overall the cap is in good condition for age but there is sign of wear, and i’ve priced it accordingly. Part of the rear and side of the black wool band  has become detached due to fraying. The imperial Chrysanthemum and anchor and gold bullion cap badge is very good. Both gilt strap buttons are intact and sturdy. The inner diamond label shows the owners name or character.  The blue silk lining is dirty, the headband inside has been nibbled and there has been book worm in the brim. My favourites are the ones that are not like new , these ones tell a better story.
