WW2 German Bomb Fragment Leigh-on-sea 1941

Part of the base of a German 1000lb bomb, large fragment piece dropped on Leigh-on-sea.

All that I know about this is that it fell  in Salisbury Road, Leigh-on-sea in 1941. I’ve been trying to find photo’s but all you can see is where the terraced houses end there is a gap where 4 stood , now there is a bungalow before the terraced houses start again.   This item came from the George Sayers family, their Grandfather was a warden at the time and i suppose taken as a souvenir.

Item size is 6 inches x 6.5 inches.
