WW2 German 20mm Flak38 Copper Washed Steel Cases (Shot Glass)

Three 20mm shell cases made into shot glasses, two have been flared out at the top, 2 inches tall . These were German 20 mm rounds with a copper- clad steel case
P181 is the code of the maker of the case: Hugo Schneider AG (HASAG) at Leipzig. To think of the soldiers making and carrying these , I suppose it’s better than carrying a glass one , less chance of breakage. Dug up in the Ardennes area of Belgium this year.

The Flak 30 (Flugzeugabwehrkanone 30) and improved Flak 38 were 20 mm anti-aircraft guns used by various German forces throughout World War II. It was not only the primary German light anti-aircraft gun but by far the most numerously produced German artillery piece throughout the war.^[1] It was produced in a variety of models, notably the Flakvierling 38 which combined four Flak 38 autocannons onto a single carriage.
