WW2 Bendix Stromberg NAR9B Carburetor

The Bendix Stromberg NAR9B is a specific model of Float type Aircraft Carburetor , commonly used on the Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Radial engines during WW2.

It’s designed for engines around 425-450 horsepower, featuring a precise air/fuel mixture control with a mixture lever and often a 2 3/4″ venturi.

This Carburetor was fitted to many  WWII era aircraft. It is good condition. One of the mounting studs is missing as can be seen in the photo. The safety wires are still intact, so parts have not been salvaged from it.  data plate is still intact.

This is quite a unique piece and would be great to add to your collection.
