The front displays the Bi metal insignia of the Merchant Marine, with the anchor device on the shield. The surface of the visor has no cracks and slight crazing. The interior of the cap has basket weave construction, with the full leather sweatband being intact. The celluloid sweat shield is in place, Bancroft.
