WW1 60Pdr field gun (shrapnel) shell projectile.+ Type 83 Mk2 Fuze

WW1 60Pdr field gun (shrapnel) shell projectile. Comes complete with Type 83 Mk2 fuze , Royal Laboratories Woolwich Arsenal. Detachable head from case, top of case worn and damaged, see photos.. Driving band complete. It obviously has been fired as the fuze has a mark or Battle damage to one side. The type 83 fuze was introduced in 1911, and was used on 60 Pdr long range guns , 5inch shell, Shrapnel type. Fuze is dated July 1917.
