USAAF Enlisted Man’s Summer Weight Visor Cap

A USAAF Summer issue Enlisted Man’s Visor (or Peaked Cap) in a cotton khaki drill material.

A size of approximately 57-58 cms. (I do not guarantee it will fit you) the cap is in good construction and although undated this does suggest wartime manufacture.

The enlisted man’s eagle is two-piece metal and fitted by means of a screw back.

The russet brown chin strap is made of leather and attached with split pin buttons. Sweatband is leather , whilst the visor is a fibre material in russet brown colour on top and green on the underside.

Inside, the Cap is lined and has a single fore aft strip of material with a celluloid diamond sweat shield which is in good order.

Overall condition is very good with no staining .
