Model 1895 Winchester, Relic from Verdun.

This is an usual Relic from Verdun , just come in with some other Lebel’s from the same area. 95 % of this piece is still intact, the butt area is lost. The saddle ring is still in place, and most of the lever action.

Obviously this piece is solid and has a slight bend to the rear action. The piece has been mounted for display and comes on a perspex base.

The Model 1895 was made in great numbers for various nations during WW1, but what this one was doing at Verdun we shall never know.
