GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS TROPICAL CANTEEN / WATERBOTTLE “KOKOSNUSS” TYPE, 1942

German WWII tropical canteen / waterbottle for the Afrika Korps, called “coconut” very often, the Kokosnuss Feldflasche. Dated 1942. Marked D.R.G.M. H.R.E. 42 D.R.P. angm. It was designed for German troops in Africa. It has black bakelite stopper which is chipped & no red gasket. The wooden cover of the “Holzmischung” is in very good condition and it looks very well. Original and rare WW2 item of the Wehrmacht. Comes with waterbottle hanger , couple of the straps need repair.
