Description
This is a Dutch or Netherlands WW2 Naval Surgeons or Medics officer’s cap. The emblem with the crowned snake was in use with the Dutch navy until 1945. After ww2 there was no difference between the various navy skills, all the badges became a crowned anchor. This hat was from a medic due to the gold embroidery as silver was a dentist, hat is in great condition and these don’t turn up very often , size 60.
