WW1/WW2 German Goggles and Case

German goggles and case , cant seem to find out much about these,

On the sides of the cups is marked ,MERZ WERKE Frankfurt . They have tinted lenses, rubber eyepieces on the cups, elasticated strap which is still good.

The case is made from a very stiff card with a leather strap similar type of shape to the German belt pouches, the leather strap is of the patterned type more like the Ww1 , but unsure. The case has L.PRAGER BERLIN , printed inside the lid. On the strap is some writing possibly a name and date but un-legible .
