WW2 Civilian Gas mask in box

Description

Cardboard, boxed type of civilian gas mask, 1938 dated .

Size medium with printed info to inside, and owners name.

Gas mask is complete but is showing signs of the rubber going slightly hard to the edges , (see photo’s).

This is still a clean piece.

These masks were issued to every civilian by the Government in the late 1930s early 1940s,. Civilians were legally required to have thier gas masks within reach at all times.
