Description
POW , Unfinished double sided wooden plaque from a Prisoner of War . 1st Mountain Division. (Gerbirgs Division) Gebirgsjager.
Formed in 1940 with the Edelweiss as their identification insignia. This is an unfinished piece of woodwork showing the Edelweiss to one side and Jager Division to the other. The fought in many battles during WW11 and committed many war crimes.
