Description
SOLD..Large relic condition Fuel gauge from a field browser, recovered in 1981 from North Weald Aerodrome (airfield) .
These fuel browsers were used throughout the Battle of Britain especially as North Weald Airfield played a leading role , for Hurricanes.
The glass is missing and the face is worn , the outer case is rusty , its been mounted onto a lump of hardwood , as can see a long time ago.
The fuel gauge was manufactured by Negretti & Zambra.
Size is 6.5 inch round.
