Description

French Chassepot bayonet ( no scabbard) overall length 26.5 in,brass hilt, has number to hilt,39242,inc blade stamps and the normal inscription to back edge of blade,blade is worn and has a slight twist to end , but due to this being a barn find is not too bad.
