Carved WW1 wooden propeller boss,carved on the front is R.N.A.S on one side and R.A.F on the other, with the centre carved out and an eagle on top. the markings on the side are AD588 RH,80 H.P. Gnome DIA 2650, pitch 1950,R3,propeller no 6515 . some small areas are slightly scratched and there is a bit of damage to the top wing of the eagle. the size of this propeller is 17 inches in length. the sopwith pup was the main fighter aircraft in use until the Camel of 1917.
