Original WW2 USAAF Major’s Visor Cap, Hat (named)

WW2 USAAF military uniform dress visor cap Major, hat named crusher air corps

This is a nice original USAAF cap. This crusher cap and has both name stitched into the crown inside and also on the peak or underside of the brim. see photos. I have done some research for Major Arthur J. Frey Jr, he spent 5 years  in the European Theatre of War. He died aged 90 in 2013.  further research is needed but i’ve given you a start. Roughly a 7 in size and shows honest wear throughout. Complete with a jumbo oversized V shaped eagle which signified “VICTORY” among Air Corps crews . Some small moth nips again see photos.
