Fabulous 18th Century Silk Bonnet

A great example of 18th century fashion, made of soft blue-green silk. The framework is made from card and has a cord tied to the back of the bonnet for adjustment in fit. There is also a ribbon tied to the front, to tie under the neck, and the bonnet is lined with silk. The overall condition of the piece is good with some straining of the silk around the neck, with silk discoloration and slightly worn in the top edges.
